Chapter 1(Max’s POV)

I flopped onto my bed and screamed into my pillow. High school was so hard. Itex is gone and mom and Jeb had bought us a house. There was a dance in three days Angel and Nudge insisted that I go shopping today. I just had to give in to the bambi eyes. I got off of my bed and started on my homework.

“Max, time to go shopping.” Angel barged into my room just as I finished my homework. I sighed and followed them out of my room. I slipped on my black converse. I followed Angel and Nudge out the door. I reached for my car keys and grabbed air. I rushed out into the garage. That was it, I couldn’t stand it anymore.

“FANG!” I screamed. I threw the door open and started running, my converse barely scraping the ground. I didn’t know where I was running to, I was just running. Tears started streaming down my cheeks. I tripped and fell on my face. My nose cracked. I layed on the ground and sobbed. I blacked out from blood loss.

Chapter 2(Fang’s POV)

I took Max’s Mustang out with my friends. I figured she wasn’t going to use it. We saw a movie. I pulled into the garage. When I opened the door into the house, the whole flock except for Max was in the living room. All heads turned to me and they were all glares.

“You.” Angel growled.

“You’re the one who sent Max too far. You pushed her over the edge.” Her voice had an edge to it.

“Max ran, Fang, Max ran far, and to where, we don’t know.” Nudge said. I opened the front door and ran into the forest. I followed converse footprints to Max. She was laying on the ground, face first. I rolled her over and saw tears streaking her face and blood gushed out of her nose. I picked her up.
